Spiritual Formation

InterVarsity Spiritual Formation Retreats

Below the surface of everything going on in our world and lives, beneath our long to-do lists, plans and agendas - how is God inviting us to live more deeply in, like, and with Jesus?

In this year leading up to Urbana, InterVarsity Spiritual Formation is offering 4 Quarterly retreats, each grounded in the book of Acts. Through these 4 retreats, we will explore how God’s Spirit invites us into intimacy, forms our character, goes with us in mission, and fuels our ministry of reconciliation and justice.

How to Use these Retreat Guides:

This retreat is made up of a PDF retreat guide and several short audio guides, each one leading you through a way of prayer and reflection with Jesus.

If possible, we suggest using and debriefing this retreat material in community, but you may feel free to engage with it on your own as well!

If you want to set aside one day to go through all of the audio guides, we suggest allowing for at least 3 hours. However, feel free to spread the content out over several days if that works better for you!

We will offer a suggested order to go through the content, but if you want to skip around -that is fine too!

You may want to download or print the companion PDF and have your own journal on hand to help you remember, reflect, and process.

There are no rules. The goal is for you to connect meaningfully with Jesus, paying attention to how the Spirit is leading you to receive that gift.
