Reaching Out to New Students

New Student Outreach is an opportunity for a bunch of strangers—Christians and non-Christians, grads and undergrads—to become friends and journey together following Jesus in the first month or so of the school year. Discern your (and your InterVarsity team’s) next step in outreach using our one scoop or two-scoop outreach framework. You will love how God will shape you and your team as disciples as you welcome others into your community.

Level Up Your New Student Outreach

This 30-minute course will teach you how to prepare for New Student Outreach on your campus so you can be ready to welcome and follow up with the new students that show up on your campus.

  • Understand the significance of NSO on campus and effectively communicate its life-changing impact to others.
  • Recognize and apply the four steps involved in NSO (Prepare, Connect, Follow Up, and Debrief), along with their best practices.
  • Utilize InterVarsity's top NSO resources to prepare for a successful NSO season strategically.
