Reaching Out

As students come to campus in-person—many for the first time—we have a significant opportunity to welcome them and invite them to follow Jesus in this new season. Will you join us in loving our campuses and new students well?

This course will help give you everything you need to welcome new students onto campus, inviting them into a community where they can meet Jesus for themselves, where they can be healed and thrive, and where they can be equipped to share God’s good news with others.

  • Encounter Jesus.
  • Learn what New Student Outreach is and why it is important.
  • Identify clear next steps to plan New Student Outreach based on your ministry’s size and context.
  • Know where to get more resources and training for New Student Outreach.

Take the Course

Note: This course is hosted by The Ministry Playbook, which is an online learning space for students, interns, new staff, volunteers, and faculty, meant to offer the basics of campus ministry to anyone who feels called to it. The Reaching Out to New Students course is just one of many courses included in the Playbook. In order to take the course, you will need to create an account with The Ministry Playbook.
